The tv shows got misplaced... First there was Monk. Its back! It was meant to be back at 10pm... but it wasn't. Instead, it was back at 7:30pm. Lucky my bro was channel surfing and caught it, otherwise I would have missed it (but I did miss some episodes before...). This time it was about a skydiver who had died of drowning. How? Well... he didn't. It was the coroner. He faked the water to get Monk down to mexico so he can kill him. Interesting concept. Anyways, after Monk, there was the Iron Chef. Now... normally Iron Chef is at 6:30. However, it was at 8:30 today. So this was the second show to be stuffed around. This time it was Pike Eel. Looks interesting, especially with the Bone Cutting technique... Tonites movie showing: Major Payne (With Damon Waynes), Doctor Dolittle (Eddy Murphy), and The Hunt for Red October (Sean Connery). I think I'll do stuff online rather than to watch them. :)

I nearly had my arm broken. Hows that for a saturday? Parents came back from shopping, and they had something in the back seat. I put my arm through the open front door to unlock the rear... and then my dad slams the door... right into my arm. But it was ok, he didn't slam it hard enough... lucky :) Anyways... some bad news. Gunbound is now no longer free for avatars. That means... u need to pay actual money to buy avatar stuff... -_- doesn't matter... I'll always play in the avatar off servers... Also watched Double Vision. That isn't a scary movie at all... I don't know... guess I'm used to that type of action... of course... there were violent bits... but its ok... samurai swords are violent as always... Last nite I watched Super Troopers... funny, but its a black comedy... Still good to watch.

This may be old news to some people, but in the past week many irc servers got attacked by little kiddies... irc.mircx.com is now under review (I think?) and irc.aniverse.com is also looking to find the people who attacked them. I remember when irc.oz.org had attacks, and irc.hinet.net also had attacks, when people simply just move elsewhere, till they come back on... Why do people choose to do such an act? Is it so that they can get busted? I think they are just little kids, and well, the servers should have a good attack defense mechanism. Now then. I registered a free domain name, www.kenman2k.tk to refer back to here. Its shorter than ur kenman2k.blogspot.com, but then its still fun to have ur own domain name. :D Very surprising that www.kenman.tk is taken by a Ken somewhere who likes to program, and is in the process of creating his own IRC client... of course, I support Mirc all the way... ever since I got into windows 3.11, it had been mirc, after the unix/vms "ircii"... of course I tried bitchx, but mirc is much easier to play around with. Anyways, I can't be the only Kenman out there, so I think its always gonna be kenman2k if I decide to get my own real domain name. Today I woke up at 8... left the house at 8:30, and then I dropped my mum off at Banktown at 9, and then arrived at Hurstville at 9:30. Basically a whole hour... -_- Then I sat there in an office for about 30 mins before I had a 5 min chat with one of the people, and then I was out. (Thats the problem... they make u wait, and the actual thingy was short... sigh...)After that, I got 2 kgs of pork mince ($4.50 a kg...) and then got a watch fixed for $10 (Battery was $8, and there was a little piece that was corroded, so that was $2... o_O). Then I got back to Bankstown at around 10:30, and since mum doesn't come out of classes till 12, I wandered around some of the shops, (I went into Bags of Savings, a big yellow store, and I didn't get any thing there... individual blank CDRs cost $2!! No way! Other things there wasn't exciting either... I think Go-Lo has better stuff :).. ) And then, waited outside the center for around 30 mins and then came home. After coming home I had lunch, and then went to get the usual milk. And after all that, I came online... found nobody to talk to... so I went gunbounding...got some points... and well... boring after getting the same maps a few times... so yeah... thats the story of my day... Glad I scared somebody last nite? You bet. Ho ho scary pictures... they are fun :D

Nothing much to say... SWAT was corrupted... (awww) so its no fun. Anyways, somebody sent me some links, these are pretty cute. From korea, but you don't need to know korean (except the bungee one) to enjoy them :) Archery, Bungee, Fishing, Baseball and Snowboarding. Nice work :) Also today it stopped raining, but its got a cool wind blowing... hmmm...

Today was a nother day of rain... and coldness. A family friend from bris came to visit, their daughter is studying down here at an uni and its nearly back to school time. I went to buy the milk and cereal cos we always run out, and a bottle of Apple Juice. It was raining, I was carrying a 2 litre bottle of Apple Juice, and a 3 lite bottle of milk, and a 860g box of Nutri-Grain(TM) when one fell... the 2 litre bottle of apple juice fell, and bounced about 20 cm... I was so lucky the lid didn't burst.... but I was rather surprised, since it fell more than a meter (from my hands as it was wet, and I was 'juggling' the bottles and umbrella...), and well, it survived :) Anyways... came home, and I played a bit of Fung Wan... its pretty sad that I can get beaten by a weak dog... but after a few goes I can go get beaten up by a weak wolf... so its not so bad. Gameplay is rather slow, but I got asked to join a party... I didn't wanna join since I have no idea what I'm doing... and if I got into a fight I'll be the first to die... thus it wasn't fun... Then I got on gunbound and had some fun there... and then in the evening watched CSI:Miami, which is ok... always with the plot twists... which turn out to be convoluted as usual... Then, I went on gunbound and played with my friend... since she was a metal axe, and I was only a wooden double hammer, I didn't win too much... but the reason was that I choose random and it gave me some mobiles which I can't use effectively... I like the direct missile types... but I got the dodgy laser and 'goes through ground' types... but then I did get the dragon, which was a direct missile type, so I like that :D But it was good... tomorrow I'll convert S.W.A.T to VCD and watch it ... :) fun

Today was a very wet and damp day... It was raining in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening... The whole day. And it was cold. Sure, its nice to have rain in summer. but its closer to autumn... so thats why its not so good. There was wind also... which makes it more colder. I woke up, had brekkie, and went to buy the milk and bread, plus some cereal since we ran out of Kellog's Nutri-grain (TM), there was a special on, 800g for $6. When u compare 600g for $9, its a bargain. Something like that comes along once in a while, so its no rush... its always available for this week, should we need to get more. I am not an gunbound addict, thus it was no surprise that I didn't advance far in the rankings. I got an extra 20 points today because the team I was on simply was LUCKY. We had a couple of n00bs ('newbies' in the language of gunbound) in the team, and well, me being a 'higher' ranked person, I was sure that the n00bs were gonna let us down. In the end it was 1-1, and I was glad that we pulled through... :D Lucky indeed. Then I told my bro to get this MMPOG (Massively Multi Player Online Game) called Fung Wan Online... since I was bored, and we have this broadband to use... unlimited... :D... And this Fung Wan is actually "Feng Yun (風雲)", but I guess since it came from Malaysia or Singapore (the game or comic maker), it got translated into Fung Wan... but its an RPG, where u go around and u can talk to other people, and trade items, and ultimately, to kick some people's asses... The problem is... its a beta game, not the final product, and after about 10 mins of wandering around killing things, I got disconnected for no reason. The website still works after I got kicked, and well... I have no idea why... its the same with gunbound... my bro and I sometimes get connection errors, but there is nothing wrong... thats the problem with beta. Ah well... next item to get... some other game demo? heh... fun... :D

Cold. The weather suddenly turned cold. I even started to wear a jumper with shorts today. And my hands were cold by 10pm... Apparently it was still hot in other parts of the country... but it was a windy 22 degrees outside... Today I started reading all the manga I got last nite... 300 megs worth... even now I still haven't read it all... so will take another day to read it. "Good Morning Call" is a really cute manga. I like the way the mangaka (the manga artist) draws the SD (superdeformed) versions... its very cute. Its about two people living together due to a bad real estate agent, and the slowness of those two falling in love. Funny at times. Stupid on the other. Other mangas that I got are "Butzu Zone" about Buddha coming to fight against robotic buddhas... its interesting... -_-... "Fullmetal Alchemist" is a somtimes funny, sometimes violent manga, but its also interesting... "Mahou Sensei Negima" (Magic Teacher Negima) is a nice funny (although there is alot of fanservice...)manga, it hasn't come out fully in English yet, but the first volume is coming out soon... end of this month in the states... its the same author as Love Hina, and well, my first series of anime that I watched was that, so I like this author. Also a Ken... Ken Akamatsu... :D heh more manga to read... :P

Compared to yesterday, today is nice... got a little wind, not so hot... didn't want to watch any vids, there is "3000 miles to graceland", "save the last dance" and "finding forrester"... no idea... didn't wanna see any of them. I played this game yesterday, it was a flash game, I found it to be pretty easy, if boring. Its just puzzles that most seasoned point and click adventure people will find a breeze... just add in the 'mental' factor, like mathematical puzzles... -_- rather stupid, but it was a good way to waste 2 hours... 12 stages in all. Just search for "Mysteries of Time and Space" "MOTAS" and then it'll be this website with a game... On other game news, there is a new game out, called "Painkiller". A dark and ghostly FPS, its very intense in its gameplay and action, and well, it looks cool, from the trailer it has (90 megs for high res, 35 megs for lo res...) FPS are getting more and more realistic, and soon people will be able to wear 3D goggles just to play... wouldn't that be fun...

Still no news... meanwhile just spent a day of doing pretty much nothing. I did get a 'corrupted' Lydia Denker - One Perfect Day, and spent around 1 hour just cleaning it up... At least now it doesn't do skipping and such... Steriogram - Walkie Talkie Man is a funny song. Sings really quick too... Gunbound is rather boring sometimes... sure, its destroy or get destroyed... but its repetitive... So thats why I'm not an addict. Cleaned up some of my HDD, since its getting rather messy... and so got some CDRs.. 25 for $13... not cheap, but its cheaper than last time... (I think... but I don't know... my memory doesn't work so well :P)

I didn't blog yesterday cos yesterday was very boring. The day was a comfortable 2x degrees (it wasn't hot, or cool... so x is between 5-7? I dunno... who cares :P) and I watched Terminator 3 and the second half of A Man Apart. I've seen T3 in the cinema before, but its still a good movie to watch, just for the action sequences... :D (I'm an action junkie in case u didn't know... NOT. :P). "A Man Apart" is a slowish kind of film, it starts slow, then it gets faster. Unlike bad boys 2, which starts fast, and goes fast till the very end... I watched the first part a few days ago, and didn't find it good to watch, but watching the second part almost makes up for it. There was this scene where alot of people shoot at each other, and the only guys that survive are the main characters. Talk about crazy shootouts... that was some crazy stuff there. I didn't even know who was on who's side... :/ anyways... this morning, or should I say afternoon, I woke up, had breakfast after 1pm, and then went out to do milk and bread shopping, also to get some meds for my parents. There was some minor complications getting the meds, since it was some PBS thingy, but then who really cares. But what happened after coming home was a total surprise. The surprise is a pretty interesting one. And you shall know it when u know my circumstance. A year or so ago I was in Taiwan, trying to find a job. Needless to say, that wasn't successful. So I'm back here in good ol' oz... The problem is that its still hard to find a job. And thus, before we left, we asked around to see if there is some kind of opportunity for a english speaking guy like me... :P Now, nearly a year later, this friend of my parents called to ask about how I was doing, then to ask if I would be interested in a job they have. I think it would be interesting. Its basically some sort of financial job. Now, I'm from Medical Engineering... and I have no Financial background. Thats why the person will teach me... I think if I go... I wouldn't be missing out on terribly much... but then it'll be an exciting adventure I hope. If it turns out well, maybe I'll be over there in a couple of weeks? Ahhhh... very interesting... Wanna see how my life turns out... :P :b :P :b hmmmm that was rather crazy... If I don't do well there... it'll be the same old routine here... I guess... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I wish there was a good opportunity somewhere where I'm sure of things... but... me in finance... hmmmmmm you want me to take care of somebody's future?? hmmmm :P I dunno... ok I'll stop rambling now... BTW, the weather is damned hot today... if I do go over to TW... it'll turn into summer?? ARGGGGGGGGGGGGG!! :(

A boring day. The weather was ok... not so hot, not so cold. I watched "The In-Laws". Its ok, though I didn't really think it was that funny. Some scenes are ok (it has its moments), but its pretty bland. I can see half of where the energiser (battery) advertisement came from... one half was the matrix, and the other half was the in-laws... :P In the evening watched CSI, but didn't really finish it cos had to pick up bro from Lidcombe station. There was something that happened at Sefton station around 5:30... some guy got slashed or cut... and there was blood... kinda scary when its just 2-3 streets away... :P ah well... lucky I don't catch the train regularly...

When solar systems get married... This is the perfect present... :P Sure, its a bit unpolished, and has no ring, but its a diamond. :D Today was rather cool, not as cool as yesterday, but still cool. I did the usual grocery shopping, and then basically didn't do much except to play gunbound for a bit and then watch CSI at night. I don't think I'm an addict... since I just manage to quit out of it after a game or two... :P but who knows... its fun to blow people up... especially when u know them!! hahahahaha

COOL. What an amazing change of weather system today! Woke up and it was cold. I immediately wanna go back to sleep, but then it was a bit late, so I crawled under the blanket that I haven't used for ages in the hot weather... Anyways, ended up watching Pirates of The Caribbean. Its a 2 hour movie, and enjoyable to a degree. Many people say Johnny Depp (aka Captain Jack Sparrow) has done a great job. I don't see any good acting there. Orlando Bloom (aka Will Turner) is ok as a sword maker I guess... and Keira Knightley (aka some damsel in distress) is the same girl in distress in many other movies... they are in distress, but act all the heroine... why? I don't know... girls wanna act all macho nowdays... :P In the evening, I got bored so I did the unthinkable. I took the plunge and installed GunBound. I don't know why, whenever I watched my bro play, I always criticise him. Since his shots suck. And now I play, I still criticise him, since his shots still suck. But then he's been playing for a longer time than me, but that doesn't deter me kicking his ass. So yeah, its a fun and addictive game, but I wouldn't recommend playing it since... IT SUCKS YOUR LIFE AWAY. HONESTLY IT DOES!! RUN!!!! :P I'll play it sparingly... but its fun to smash people to oblivion :P

another hot and boilingly (I made that word up) humid day today. Of course, that didn't deter me in my daily shopping of milk and sometimes bread. However what was annoying was that my mum decided to clean out the freezer this morning. Why would this be annoying? since the freezer is just outside my door. So I didn't get to sleep in today. No biggie. :P All day I've been getting some files... and then I joined an irc server just to get some more files... The people who chat there are much more active than the current channels I chat in... Maybe I'll keep a window there just for the heck of it... even if its like teenagers... having a conversation beats having none... In the evening there were a plethora (I like this word) of "new" movies on. Seven had "Tomb Raider", Nine had "Swordfish" and Ten had "Bridget Jones's Diary". Guess which one I saw? Nine. Yeah and then what happened to be after that? Seven had "Hackers", Nine had "Last Boy Scout" and Ten had "Single White Female". Guess again which one I saw??? :P Yep you guessed it, Hackers. I just have an affinity with Computer movies. Even if its totally false and not based on facts. Still I like to watch those kinds of movies... good for a laugh. Hackers ended pretty late too... and even after a shower at 12:30 I still feel sticky and sweaty... :( Not cool at all...

Happy Valentines Day... Me? I'm a monk, so... it doesn't mean anything to me. Today is another hot day. And both of my bros are out... that means I get the adsl all to myself... :D I haven't done much, but tried to get some movies... and they are coming along slow... also trailers are pretty good to watch :) Yesterday 2 items of news caught my eye. One was the Barbie and Ken (yes the dolls) have broken up, after 40+ years! Barbie is now looking at this aussie surfer dude... so now nobody can say Ken and Barbie anymore :D funny huh. The other news was the Windows 2000 Source Code was leaked to the net. That is funny. You would get that code and... beat Microsoft? I don't know... :P But its still funny. Last nite's movie select was 'Con Air', 'The Mexican' and 'Erin Brokovich' (no idea about the spelling...)... so I didn't watch any of it... I haven't watched tv much nowdays... u can imagine why :P

Relief... for now

It was sporadically raining all day today. Then sporadically sunshine. So the overall result was... cool and warm, but less humid than the past few days. Today my bro watched Legally Blonde 2, and I didn't wanna watch it yet, so I didn't watch it with him, but I did watch "The Tuxedo". I think its ok, but I think the NG (no-gos) at the end are better than the actual movie itself. But still its not bad to watch, and well, not much more action than his previous movies, maybe its because he's actually getting old... Today we also had some Telstra guy come check our phone line out, since it dies and comes back to life quite a bit for the last week... don't know what causes it, but apparently they are fixing the exchange on our street this week, and next week it'll be parallel streets down the road... so it shouldn't happen anymore after that. And TPG still hasn't activated our adsl yet, but here we are, online! :P Ah weird :P Hope tomorrow will be cooler, but I don't know... the weather is kinda dodgy... -_-;;;

Mmmm... humid but it was cooler in the evening, thanks to some storm that was in Queensland. Watched "Daredevil" today, it was a rather sad story. *sob sob*. Nah, it was ok. Also, CSI:Miami... taken straight from the headlines. Club burns down and the doors were locked... does that make for good viewing? So so I think. In the evening, I saw an interesting link. Its a video of somebody who finishes Super Mario Bros 3 in 11 minutes. Crazy? You bet. If you want to find the file, Google the term "moSMB3.wmv". Its around 18 megs, so it might take a while. But when you look at it, you'll think that the guy was rather mad. But pretty co-ordinated. I haven't even played SMB3... that shows u how much I'm out of it...

It was still a hot day today. Lucky it wasn't as hot, but... well u know I like to complain :P Anyways, today I didn't watch any particular video. I guess I was too lazy. But I did play Metal Slug 5. Looks ok, but still, it doesn't have something which will super impress me. Getting subtitles to convert is harder than it looks. Converting text into graphics... thats pretty hard, but I'll get that done soon :P In the evening watched the new season of CSI... still interesting, but its losing its touch. And who knows then 'The O.C' will come back...

The heat wave continues...
It was really hot today. I walked to the supermarket, and spent a little time in there, since it was so nice and cool. Especially in the frozen section... and then once again outside was damned hot. And it was humid... thats why didn't do much today either. Watched "Cradle 2 the Grave", with Jet Li and DMX, two guys from different side of the line working together to stop nuclear terrorism. Not bad for some action scenes, other scenes aren't so good. But there are some elements of dry comedy. And I like the last bits when the credits roll up... also I found that there was this woman (Gabrielle Union) which was in this film and then in Bad Boys II... quite a fluke that those two movies were done after each other. Her other films which I've seen were "Bring it On", "10 Things I hate About you" and "She's all that". All romantic teen movies, and now action movies... transition... In the evening, I watched "Bend It Like Beckham". It was alright.. just some event after another, till you're wondering if she can keep her head straight... To be, or not to be, or be, or what the hell is this movie about? oh about an Indian girl in the UK who wants to play soccer but her parents don't want her to, but reluctantly give in since its a movie... I think I will give it 2.5/5 because it wasn't too exciting...

Hmmm... why was it so damned hot today? If it was straight hot it would be fine. But then it had to be humid and windless as well. It was a terrible day. Felt like a sloth all day... but then I'm like a sloth most days :P Watched Matrix Reloaded for the second time. Just for the action scenes, mind u. The plot I've already known, and well... fighting against 30-40 Smiths, fighting on the freeway... its all good. 3 movies down... keep on going!!! :P
on Political news, Peter Beattie won the QLD election. I like him, he's pretty cool. I don't even know who the opposition in QLD is now... thats how bad my political knowledge is. But I do wish Mark Latham will kick Johnny's ass. :D

Watched Bad Boys II today. Totally cool film. I think I would have enjoyed it at the cinemas. But watching at home is pretty good also. Lots of action, guns, and cars. And of course, dead bodies. Overall I'll give it 4/5. Thats cos the quality (especially when theres alot of moving things) isn't great. But I can't complain, its really a funny movie overall. Definately not one for the faint hearted. :) I didn't watch Johnny English with my bros because well, I had sat there for around 2.5 hours watching BB2... so I guess I'll watch more movies tomorrow (today.) The adsl link is still alive, but I don't know when it'll become stable. Sometimes it's stable, other times, it will drop out for no reason. Guess we'll see on Monday.

Wow... 4 days without blogging. Alot of things have happened since then. Well, not exactly. But the good thing is we "have" adsl. The modem started connecting at 1536/128. Since we are only registered for 512/128 I think its pretty weird... But who cares, its there, and we will use it till it is 'registered' to the 512. But that means... its LeechWeb time.

Tuesday
A nice day. Woke up and met friend from overseas in the city. Lets call this person 'X'. Anyways, met X at Central Station's Platform 1. The thing was, X never been in syd, so it was unfortunate that I told X to go to Central Station, since the bus X caught was already at the hotel X was gonna stay at. Sorry X. If I knew, u could have waited at the hotel... :) Anyways, after the greeting, we went to check in. The time for check in was 2pm, but the room was already prepared, so we got the room early. And then it was time to explore. :) (well, I'm a local, so I don't need to explore). Anyways, we needed grub first, since it was already past noon. And Australia, being a meat country, didn't suit X's tastes. Thus it was harder to find decent food. But we found overpriced and not so great tasting food. I think X cried on the inside :P... Anyways, after lunch we went first shopping for X's sis. And then after that it was on to see what Sydney had to offer. Darling Harbour, Chinatown, Opera House, Circular Quay. By the time we finished it was nearly 8... so we got a pizza and had it in the hotel room, while watching the new episode of The Simpsons. I found it really funny :) X found it... interesting. heheheehe. Then I went home and crashed out.

Wednesday

The day started out raining. Rained hard. I caught a ride with my bros to the city, since one bro was going to a 'summer' camp for his PHD, and the other bro was registering his application for his Masters of Education. I walked from Usyd to George St. That was rather wet. Anyways, while in the room, X had gone out and taken pics... so that was pretty good. The rain stopped, and then we embarked on the big adventure. The zoo. We caught the ferry, and then got to the zoo. Spent about 3 hours there, and the zoo was all... vertical... just lucky that we caught the sky-carriages to the top, rather than start from the bottom. Saw most of the exhibits... I don't know what we missed, but by the end of 3 hours I think we were both tired. Maybe I was tired only, X always seems to be full of beans. After that, we had packed lunch made by my mum at Circular Quay. Then we went to Bondi Beach. At that time, it was still very sunny. We spent around 20 mins trying to find out where the beach was, and then we walked there, from Bondi Junction station. By the time we got there, it was still bright and plenty of people were there still, at around 6pm. Nice thing about Daylight saving isn't it. We walked along the beach and it was pretty cool. I should have pushed X into the sea... That would have been funny!! :D but I'm too nice. Anyways, after that, we didn't wanna walk all the way back to the station, so we caught the bus. And then got back to the city around 9? And I bought a Subway sandwich, which I haven't had for a longgggggggg time. :D While eating, American Pie was on. I guess X was pretty excited :) hehehe its a funny movie... a bit sad, but funny. Anyways, I arrived home after 'dinner' around 11, and was too tired. So crashed out as well.

Thursday
We had planned to go to Manly Beach, but since going to Bondi beach X didn't think it'll be any different. So instead we went to Sydney Aquarium. And we also planned to go to Kings Cross, so X can have a peek there... but thats for later. At the Aquarium, they stamp your hand. Why? I don't know, since we went there for about 2 hours, and didn't have a need to get back in again. Sure, there were lots of marine life to see, but its nothing overly exciting. Although there were huge creatures. Sharks, and Rays... And Seals, and Fish. And there was a small tank with 3 clown fishes, of Finding Nemo fame. I didn't know they were so small. Truely small. But cute anyways. There was one huge window pane and people just sat there for a while admiring the schools of fishes just swimming by... very nice and relaxing. I think its ok... maybe a little expensive, but hey, Sydney is expensive overall. So its 'ok'. After we got out and found a place to eat along Darling Harbour's East side, it was too late to go to Kings Cross. and lucky we didn't want to go there, since there was a gas leak at Town Hall. Lucky at that time we were going west, to where I lived, since X was invited to dinner at our place. But as soon as we got to Bankstown station, they told all the passengers to get off!! The service was going to Liverpool or somewhere, and they just said that this train terminates. Needless to say, alot of people weren't happy! I called home for parents to pick us up, and then we came back to Bankstown to browse... X never seen a store like K-mart before. Maybe X did, but then its cool to browse around in the afternoon heat, in the comfort of air conditioning :D We had dinner at our place, and then we went to the station... Since there was a disruption, we didn't know what will happen. So... we waited... and after waiting, we were lucky just before we left that a train came. And thus we were able to get back to the city. After saying goodbye to X, since X leaves in the morning, I went home... and got home quite late, since well... the trains were still in different timetables... and the fone line was still dead... but anyways, went to sleep straight after because I was still tired...

Friday
The fone line was back. And then the adsl line was up. So I surfed in 2 minute blocks. Why? Cos the adsl was connection at 1536/128 and our plan is 512/128. But who is complaining?... Anyways, it was a hot day, in my bro's room it was around 38 degrees. And then the monitor died. Thus, I changed the 19" with the 15"... Spiral -推理の絆- Its an interesting series. Lots of brain teasers, deep thinking, and well, excitement. But I didn't think it finished properly. I mean, what happened to Narumi Ototto's bro, Kiyotatta? (I'm sorry if I spelt the names wrong, but I'm not that good with japanese names). Is he still missing? and so, why? and what about the 3 blade children who suddenly just transfer out of school? Why? is there more hunters? If there is a second series, I'll be sure to get it just for a look. Anyways, that leaves me one more Anime series... Kiddy Grade... hmmm that'll take a few days to finish, if I can be bothered to finish it. Today there was a sudden rain storm, which only lasted around 5 mins. Then it was all over. At that time, my parents went out to buy chicken parts. Meat, and guess what, a 10 kg box of feet. at 11pm, the box hasn't actually de-frosted yet. Thats pretty well frozen. Anyways, there isn't enough space in the upright freezer, so we had to move the second freezer that we got from the shed to the veranda, and connect it to power. That took a little bit of time, but its like doing all that effort just for around 10 kg of feet. Yay. Maybe there will be more stuff moved to the freezer, but since its outside, maybe not... and also we had a 10 second blackout. That was enough to reset 3-4 items in the house. I don't know why there was a blackout, since at that time there was no storms yet. But its ok now... anyways, the next few days I'll be taking a friend around town, so yeah... will see what is good... :P In the evening I watched the first episode of The Hot House, a reality TV show about 14 couples who plan and trick each other while building a house. Each week they will vote one couple out, and the result is a 2 million dollar house on Bribie Island. The first episode they had a huge storm, which was pretty interesting, since... well.. in chinese philosophy if u move house, and as soon as you moved into the house, there is rain, then its a good start. They had a huge storm, and well since there were 13 couples there (the 14th couple will be announced later) I guess thats fitting. Stormwise that is. Lots of money will be there. And the storm finished quickly too. Pretty interesting to see what happens with the house... Building a swimming pool by digging it out with shovels... hehehe funny :P

Its been a day of just bludging around. Truely nothing remarkable. I watched 2 episodes of Spiral, and one episode of Kiddy Grade. Spiral gets more interesting, and Kiddy Grade is still... weird. Anyways, my mum wanted the old Pentium 2 300 since when we get adsl, she and dad can check the taiwanese news online. So we moved the computer to her room, now its all set up, and all we now need is an Ethernet cable (about 20 meters long) so it can be hubbed up. Other than that, the system is ready to go, it has always been ready to go, even though its a bit slow. In the evening, there were many movies to watch (for some strange reason... usually there are only 3 on a saturday... I'm talking about the commercial channels here).. But today there was Golden Child, Mr Magoo, Money Train, The Peacemaker, Desperately Seeking Susan... a smorgasboard of classics. Guess what I watched? :P The Peacemaker. I guess I prefer Clooney to Snipes. (Or, from the other point of view, Kidman to Lopez... hmmm) Anyways, on the internet there was the interesting news that Pixar is going its way away from Disney. Item here. That means Toy Story 3 will be made exclusively by Disney, so... it may not be as good as TS1 and 2... I like Pixar, they are pretty cool. :)
