Today, the day before NYE, my bro wanted to bbq some spare ribs on the little roasting thingy he got as a xmas present. So they rocked over to a meat store and got some. Turns out that the heat beads that he got from the Warehouse were only medium heat, not strong enough to actually bbq anything. So they were roasted instead. And the ribs were fine. I think that they should be marinated for a few hours beforehand, but they made a sauce for it, to be put onto the ribs after they are grilled. So the meat is a bit drier than the ones I had before. Anyways, that wasn't totally fufilling. And then, my bro (bro #2) had his gf over to cook the meat. After that was cooked, the other bro (bro #1) bought his gf over. First time I saw her. And I don't wanna comment. Anyways, bro #1's gf didn't/couldn't stay for dinner, so she was taken home. The other girl stayed with my bro to watch the first 12 episodes of Love Hina. Had dinner, it was noodles + veges. So had to have second meal about an hour afterwards cos was feeling hungry again. Later in the evening they finished watching the Love Hina 12th episode, and my bro took her home. Meanwhile I was working on my webpage. Its getting more and more challenging. Ah will have tomorrow to make all of it done. :P

There still some bits of the Krispy Kremes left. Technically it would have been finished by now, but everybody is so... polite. I could have finished a box of 12 very easily. Whatever they said about it being bad to eat a whole box in one sitting... They must have small appetites. Anyways, today was a mixture of medium to cold weather. Both my bros and mum went to the Warehouse and other stores to get some items, and I didn't even know. I thought they'd be at work today, but guess that it was still hols. Till the new year kicks over. Yay. I don't know what I'll do in the New Year. Might stay at home and watch it on the telly. Or just hear fireworks from the neighbourhood ppl who are so inconsiderate. My bro was walking laps around the back yard. Between the trees. Why? Cos he was either very bored, or just plain weird. I suggested to him if he wanted to keep fit maybe he should carry dumbbells in his hands, but he didn't wanna. It was very like Big Brother 2, when the Housemates had nothing to do except to walk around the garden as exercise. Ah my mind is a waste. Better get my webpages finished. -_-

Just a quick blog today. Nothing interesting happened. Except that I had alot of Krispy Kreme doughnuts~~ :D~~ Yummy~ Its pretty good, how it manages to keep soft after being cold. But like a normal doughnut, it can be very nice when u microwave it for a couple of seconds! Apart from that short advertisement sounding part of the blog, we had a 'family' sorta event. Can you guess what kind of event we would do as a family? Yes? No? Changing washers in taps. Yes, thats one event every family should do as a unit. There was 2 taps that needed new washers cos they leak, and a u-bend that needed cleaning. And that needed the whole family. Ah its fun isn't it :P In the evening, none of my bros were at home, and nothing was on tv. So I worked more on my webpage. I think it'll be ready for 2004. :)

Heh I'm bored. Thus I present to you, Metraus as the movie star in S.W.A.T. "What?" I hear you say... who is Metraus? oh he is my good friend, Chris. He showed me his pic, and I thought it was pretty cool that I just borrowed his head and poped it onto a pic. Sorry if I break any rules, but hey, its not for profit, its just for fun. Here it is. Have fun with it. But don't you agree that he does look the part, with the sunnies? :D If you wanna go to his mini hp, its at Cyworld/Metraus. Its in Korean however. But he has alot of pics there and other stuff to look at :)
Meanwhile, it was a cold day today. Spent the day inside, except once to go into the garden and look around at the plants. They are coming along nicely. Meanwhile, I've been writing more of my webpage also. But it'll still be a long time before I'll upload it to my webpage server. So stick around. :P

The National Geek Test. Out of 115 Questions, I only got 45. I'm not geeky enough. Sigh. Ah well. I never was in the IT field. Anyways, how is everybody's day? Mine was very boring. I got woken up by my bro because his gf called him to say that the DVD player he gave her doesn't produce 2 channel sound. And asked if I wanna go over with him to fix it. I said, no thanks. Then I proceded to have brekkie and then told him about the basics of DVD player adjusting. Turns out that particular model doesn't have a 2.1 Setup, it only has the 5.1 + Video/Y/Cr/Cb/Optical/Digital SPDIF. Thus he went and turned off the Dolby Prologic Function and Digital Output. And it works like a charm. So I guess he and her family watched X-Men 2 alright. Meanwhile, at our place, there wasn't anything happening. There wasn't much on TV during the day, just the annual boat race, Sydney to Hobart. In the evening however, I settled down to watch the World Idol event. Out of 22 countries that bought the rights to 'play'

Happy Boxing Day!
Now. Having celebrated Xmas in the northern hemisphere only once in 17 years, this is perhaps the most hottest Christmas Day I've remembered. It hit around 32 degrees... And the humidity was right up there. And because there was no wind, it was very uncomfortable. So that was basically the gist of my day. Feeling hot and bothered. And only now at around 2am is it cooling down. In the evening watched the DanceSport thingy... people dancing 'Standard' and 'Latin'. I can't understand how people do that head shaking thing. They shake their head rapidly... I tried to do it and I got a headache. Arrrr... What else did I do today? Nothing. That shows u how much Christmas spirit we got :) The news caster said that there might be some rain today (Friday) so I hope he's right. Otherwise it'll be hot hot hot... I wish I can go to the Sales on for Boxing day. but I don't wanna be crushed by people... Article here. A digicam for $25! Who wouldn't want one!

Merry Christmas!
Even though I'm a pretend monk, I would like to wish all readers of my little blog here a Merry Christmas, Boxing Day, and of course, a Happy and Prosperous New Year. Of course, I say this unconditionally, and wish for nothing in return. :) However, I like to say that I didn't have a good day today, mainly the fact that I happened to stub my left toe coming out of the shower (yes silly me) and the way I managed to stub it was to have the piece of water protecting guide rail go underneath my toenail... and it started bleeding. But its fine now, and should be ok tomorrow :) Other news today? Did last shopping before the shops close for 1-2 days. Swapped the 20W halogen light bulbs for 10Ws, got 3 different types of manure/potting mix, each smelling worse than something died, it even has warning labels saying 'Do not inhale dust or mist'. Who the hell goes around inhaling compost???? Crazy! Oh yeah, if u didn't know, it has microorganisms in the mixture, to help the soil work better for you, the gardener :) And then just got some food shopping done, we now got 3 x 3 L bottles of milk in the fridge, on the top shelf. Not safe, but we finish one every day, so it'll be ok I think. Lucky its nice and average today, not so hot, and not cold. But it might get real hot tomorrow. Hope not, but then again, when do my hopes come true? Anyways, leave some milk and cookies for Santa, and maybe u'll get what u wish for :)

Tired... thats the summary of my day. Woke up damned early for a Monday, 5:40 am, and we just did the ceremony for making the cabinet official. Also, because today was the chinese day for making 'tang yuen (湯圓)', its was killing two birds with one stone. Anyways, after the ceremony was over, I went back to sleep for about 3 hours, after which when I had to go with my mum to get the tires changed. It was a fast change, and then we did some shopping for instant noodles. Its not surprising that the prices for ordinary stuff increases in the holiday season... But still we have to complain about it. After coming home, I didn't do much, since it was so damned hot and humid.. And still tired... so I guess I'll sleep well tonite :P

Its really a thing of beauty... and now I'm enLIGHTened... :)
Hehe... its been a long day, and I'm tired, but feeling good about it. First of all, woke up early again, same as yesterday. This time to go get lights for the cabinet. We decided to go to Bunnings and the Warehouse to see if there are lights to fit the needs that we have. Unfortunately, the size (too big)/wattage (too much) they had wasn't enough. So, we headed to the car. And then, we see a lighting shop. Just besides the Warehouse. And its owned by a chinese, which was very helpful. She showed us all the products that suited our needs, which was basically to light up 3 sections. So, this was the first trip, out of the 3 that was made. We came back and discussed if that was alright. It was alright, so we went ahead and bought one halogen light (thinking it was 10W) + transformer (maximum 60W), thinking because it was at a higher voltage, it might be bright enough to illuminate the other 2 sections if placed in the middle. Well, it did illuminate, but wasn't bright enough (even at 20W). So, the third trip was to get two other halogen downlights(Making the total wattage = 60W). And all three got installed without a fuss. There was a fourth trip made, to get smaller voltage lamps, since the ones installed were 20W, instead of 10W... (I was tired just installing the lights... so I didn't go since the 2nd trip).. anyways... weird shopkeepers :P So, in the evening, we moved the cabinet from the delivery position to its rightful place, and hooked it all up... turned on the juice, and WOW ITS NICE~~ VERY NICE~~ Looks like it can be on display in some nice gallery or something... Especially with the lights on! (And we'll be keeping the lights on 24/7... a 3000 hour globe will need replacing every 3 months I think...) Tomorrow we'll be waking up early just to finalise it. Hope I'll be awake then... (5am... yarrrrrr... also gotta go get the tires at midday.) (If u wanna see the Cabinet, here it is... :))
Its a thing of beauty
The cabinate/case finally arrived. It's gonna weigh a ton to move, and its a nice brown. Not too dark, and not too light. Lucky the front door didn't have to be taken apart since the manufacturer was kind enough to take the top off the cabinate first, and then fit it back in after it was moved inside the house. That will be tomorrow. I think I spent most of the day just waiting for it to come in, and after it came in, spending time just helping the guy fix the top decorations to the case. And then smelling the wood smell. Or is it the paint smell? Hmm I dunno. Its made out of pine. I think. They just painted it the brown color. Overall its a very nice design too. When it got delivered to the shop, the owner of the shop got told by several of his customers that it was a very impressive cabinate. That means... my dad can design good looking cabinates, and then probably sell the plans. But I don't think that'll be happening soon. Anyways, we might go shopping to get lights for the case, since they didn't have anything to do with lighting. It'll be good when the statues and whatnots are put on it :D Oh yeah, after the cabinate got delivered inside the house, it rained for about 1 minute. Must be a good sign :)

I've got a free Sauna... In the car...
Yep... I was basically sitting in a sauna while driving to the shopping center. Why drive? Cos it was hot, dammit. Damned hot. Not to mention that it was humid as hell. In the house its already around 33 degrees. And there I was, driving around, in the car. Which has no AC. And the fans when turned on, only gives hot air. Like really hot. So, when I checked the thermometer inside the car (yep, we got one in the car just for that special situation)... It registered... 47 degrees :O Arrrrrrrr~~~ Maybe I'll lose some kilos. Or just die. But anyways, that was my bitch of the day. :P In the evening, there is no good shows to watch. And some of the weatherpersons predicted a storm either late tonite, or on the weekend. So why not now? Damn its hot~~~ (sweats like a pig)...
On the net, Linux now has a new kernel out... Story here. Also, DoCoMo has new 3rd Gen fones out soon. Story here... They already had the 3rd gen network out for 2 years... while Aus has the '3' network, www.three.com.au it pales in comparison. When will broadband be cheap in aus? maybe in about 5 years... -_-

5~~~ Golden~~ Corn~~~, 4 boxes o'meds, 3 cal-en-dars, 2 boxes of eggs, and a bag of 25kg rice in the rear trunk...
Well... that was basically the day of shopping. First we went to get the bag of rice, but it wasn't being sold (for that price...) so we got corn at that place first... later we went a long way away just to get the bag of rice. And then find out that its $25 for the 25 kgs... damn its expensive nowdays. What next... ah yeah, we wanted to get the car's rego done... so.. we had to get a pink slip. And they told us to get the tires changed. Since they are balding... so... we'll get that changed on Monday. :P Also a quick oil + filter change. And that costs around $200. Damn its more expensive :P The other items of groceries were gotten along the way back home. After dinner, me and my bro were getting settled in front of the telly to watch The OC... except that it wasn't showing! DAMN U BUNDY! I meant.. CHANNEL 9!!! Why... did they show a re-run of CSI? Thankfully I didn't watch that episode before, so its cool. But nevertheless, they showed a re-run when they had fresh episode of The OC. Maybe it got stolen. Maybe some employee took it home and forgot to bring it back. Bahhh. Bastards. (Yeah I know many people will complain, I just like to complain for the heck of it...) But at least I watched Hack... Turns out that woman was a lying bitch afterall. But... do they really do that? Guess they do. :P (

Today was just another day. Very boring. Nothing to do. So what did I do today? I was gonna do my webpage, or play some games, or whatever, but I didn't. Firstly just went shopping. We basically ran out of cereals to eat in the morning. Only got the cornflakes left. So it was time to restock. Weet-bix, Corn Flakes, Nutri Grain and Musli. Also more musli bars, milk and other simple things. After coming back, my parents went to get some chinese herbal medicines down at bankstown. Except that they went 3 times. Thats like the same amount per day I did when moving house. First they (the shopowners) weren't even in (even after calling my parents to say that they can go collect the herbs), second time, after my parents came back, they realised that one ingredient was wrong -_-.. so they went a third time... Meanwhile I was going over a manual for somebody. Since their mother tongue isn't English, I can accept the mistakes. Except that... how can they mistake 'Angle' with 'Angel'??? Bad typo :P... Anyways... in the evening I watched Daylight, with Sly Stallone and a very different Aragorn (Viggo Mortensen). Except he was clean shaven and blonde/brown). Its ok the second or third time around, but its a sad plot. If something like the M5 blew up...hmmm... no idea what will happen... maybe people will actually escape. :P
In the internet front, several items caught my interest. 2 Aussie unis was in the top 100 unis in the world. Who are the first 10? here they are:
Top 10 world universities
1 Harvard
2 Stanford
3 California Institute of Technology
4 University of California, Berkeley
5 Cambridge
6 Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
7 Princeton
8 Yale
9 Oxford
10 Columbia
Full story here.. Other news: The Lord of the Rings challenge (Australia) has finished.
Its not likely that I'll win anything, but it was fun while it lasted.
Unlike bloody DeltaOneZero, which kicked me out since I failed to complete a task on time.
I don't get online till past 10pm, since we're on dialup, and we do get fonecalls.
Ah well. Here is a funny link for you'se all. Its Gollum rapping! Click Here.

One Down... How many more to go???
I was watching TV, there was the movie "The Legend of Bagger Vance", and then this line of text scrolls across the screen... Saddam Hussein got caught in Tikrit. Woo.. :) Apart from that, I thought LOBV was ok, nothing spectacular... just a simple, heartfelt story about golf. And a kid who I shall call WingNut. Hehehe funny :P And somebody said before that Will Smith was a ghost in the movie. I don't know if he was, but if he was a ghost... he sure is a mighty strong poltergeist... Able to move things at will... but I don't think he's a ghost. So I might be mistaken. Anyways... what else did I do today? Not much... working on my new webpage. Will have it ready by 2004 I think :P

I smell of grass
Well I did... But I think thats cos I didn't cut too much grass, and only that the grass was... thick. After the recent storms and rain, the grass around the place are lush and... well growing wild. So, when I went to cut the grass, naturally the grass is wet, and clings to whatever it might fly to. So thats why my hands and clothes smell like grass. But thats to be expected. Tonight, there were two movies. One was "Down Periscope"... I never seen it, and it looks very stupid to me, so I didn't wanna see it. Since I never watched "Godzilla" before (yes its has been on tv a couple of times, but I never got to see it till now) I watched that instead. :D Heh... sometimes its good, sometimes... its rather badly rendered. Ah well... Nobody can perfectly render realistically. The eyes can just pick up the difference quite easily. Its when u can fool the eyes then u've become the true magician. Wonder why I babble on so much? Thats cos I made coffee Ice Cubes! With Nutella. Yum Yum. :P (Wonder if I can make coffee lollies. Hmmmm... Like those Kopi thingys from the asian shops...)

blehhhh...
Ok... its now around 1am, and its cold, and it has been raining all day. Let me begin from the beginning. I was sleeping nice and snug in my little blanket when I was awakened. By the sound of heavy intense rain falling on the tin thing that is my roof. I hurriedly get up, not knowing why, but having an idea... To close the windows. Yes, thats it, since last nite it was hot so we have the windows open. Except that they were closed when I got to them. So, still not knowing why I got up just like that, I look at the clock. 6:10am. My bro was already up... (one of them anyways), having brekkie. The other members were sound asleep. That means either A) I'm stuffed in the head, since I went to sleep at 2am... B) I'm a real light sleeper. Anyways either reason doesn't matter, since I'm back in bed and off to dreamland I went. I woke up around 6 hours later... My mum wanted me to go with her to pick up the plastic case thingy. So off we went. In the bloody rain. But at least the journey was uneventful, which was good. Anyways, there wasn't much to watch tonite... so nothing to say there. On the computer front, however, there seems to be a flaw in IE... if u see some link which has a %01@ in it... such as http://www.microsoft.com%01@www.fake.microsoft.com/ .. The website will be going to www.fake.microsoft.com, but the url will show www.microsoft.com. Be warned! They will make fake websites, such as a realistic looking Ebay etc... and so u might get tricked into entering personal information, Credit Card details etc. .. A public service announcement from yours truely.
On some fun news, there is the RPG type game. Pity its in Chinese (Simplified). Magic Tower is a Flash MX game. :)

Its definately summer.
Why? Its hot. Its humid. Did I mention that its hot? I guess so. The thermonitor inside the house was around 30 degrees celcius. And its humid. So it feels hotter than it really is. Plus that there is no wind... Anyways, I went to shop today, milk, 18 can carton of coke, plus 6 boxes of Arnotts' shapes. They had the new flavours out (a funny pizza ad on TV) but I could only get two of the 3 flavours. Hawaiian and BBQ meat lovers. Pity the shop ran out of Supreme. Ah well maybe next time (They were 98 cents each... bargain!! except that I usually can finish a box in less than 10 mins if hungry... -_-) Anyways, driving to the shopping centre was bad, since it was so hot in the car, and... well I didn't want to drive, but to buy a carton of coke... I didn't wanna walk with it. So... I got there, and bought it all, and I was reversing out of the spot... and the next car was just packing their groceries into their trunk, which made my task a bit more difficult. But two old ladies were really kind to help me get the most of my restricted space and I got out of there without crashing (not that I would have, but I might have to wait till the guy beside me moved his trolley out of the way...) Anyways, about the ant problem, it seems that they are coming in from just under the front door, since a lot of them were in a line formation, just crawling across the door frame... -_- have to stop them, otherwise... Ant infestation isn't good. The news said there might be a chance of rain... but I guess not.
Tonight, on "The O.C", Ryan is again reunited with his mum... except that the mum is totally alcoholic and couldn't resist making a spectacle of herself at a fundraising casino function... And so she leaves. And Marissa tries to make up with the jock bf, except that he can't forgive her. And that she can't forgive Ryan either. So its a bad triangle thingy. But at least Ryan is there to stay, since they agree that they can stay with Sandy's family... What will happen? We'll find out next week. :P The other watchable things were "X-Files: Fight the future" and "Hack". I never followed the X-Files, unlike my friend, who I've lost contact since graduation Uni and moving to syd, but I think a movie like that should be able to stand alone. But I guess I didn't wanna watch it. Hack is about an ex-cop who after something becomes a cabbie. And solves crime, which fixing his cab. I think its ok, but maybe if I saw the first episode I might like it a bit more. :P
A funny link with funny (chinese) pics... Enjoy :)

Gek Gek Gek... New Design. :P
Yes, a brand new design. I hope that u can see that I've put a lot of effort into it. Now that u've seen it, please go wash ur eyes with acid so that... nevermind :P What did I do today? Not much. It was rather hot and humid today, and well, there not being much life in this person... I just spent most of my time making this layout. If it doesn't work, please blame somebody else. Blame the Trainmaster. Yeah, thats right, blame that guy. He made this Mobil Ave. And I'm stuck here. Ahhhh... :P (This is like my 10th try to fix the damn thing!! :(... )
On other news... we have a strange case of the Ants. Yes. Ants. They are crawling all around the kitchen table. And there isn't food on this table. Yet they come. No idea where they come from. So... will have to see if there is a trail of Ants crawling around... -_-
Ok I've set the settings too damn much, will stop now. :/
Summer is back on track... for now. Today it was a hot day, and I felt dehydrated most of the time. But when I drink alot of water, I needed to go to the toilet. So... don't know. Anyways, didn't do much today, since there wasn't much to do. Finished watching the Love Hina, and there were some bits which I missed before, due to the slow computer not playing all the frames. But now I can see them well. I didn't look at any Father Ted, since there were other things to do. Now, at 1:30am in the morning, the fucking next door neighbours are playing loud rock music. If they do this once more... I think some action will have to be done. The cops will love to hear this. Disturbing the peace!! I think its AC/DC. If it was classical, sure, but at this time of the night? No way. NO MUSIC. Bloody need to have their heads checked.

Two posts stuck together today... Since I wasn't able to access this page after a few goes... and then asked somebody to do it, they couldn't either. So it wasn't me. But anyways, yesterday (Sunday) there wasn't much to say, except that my bro wanted to buy some shoes, except that a quote for the cabinate/shelf maker called, and my parents had to go negotiate the settlement. The makers were given the deadline before christmas, which is basically 3 weeks. If they don't make it, they don't get $$. So I guess the deal is done, not sure if they'll make it. Its a big shelf, so it might need to go in some weird angle or from the back entrance. Anyways... Parents came back around 4:30ish, and my bro was in a hurry to get his shoes, at the Warehouse. So we drove quickly over, it was about 10 mins drive, and then we found out it closes at 5pm, sharp. That leaves 20 mins to get the shoes. 10 mins in, the announcer goes 'This shop will close in 10 mins'. 5 mins left, 'This shop will close in 5 mins, please move to the cash registers'. And then they closed the front doors, only allowing people to leave, not enter. So I quickly left and waited in the car, since I wasn't doing anything and didn't want to wait in the queue with my bro and mum. (Lazy aren't I :P Plus I can listen to music in the car). Anyways, we were lucky that the shoes were available, since the other item that we wanted to get wasn't (it was a gift set of coffee/tea strainer + 2 cups). At night, I was thinking to watch Mulholland DR., thinking it was the mindtrip movie I heard about, except that it was Mulholland Falls, a totally different Movie!!!! DAMN U CHINESE TV GUIDE!!!! They had the correct title in the actual TV guide, but on the bottom, they had the other movie title! (and a whole paragraph in chinese about the movie). Ah what lame person did that, they should get fired. Anyways, watch Mulholland Falls, its not a bad watch. Its a film about 4 detectives in the 1940s investigating this girl in the desert who was found totally crushed/all bones broken. Apparently she is a hooker and she had a relationship with the main character/detective, and because he knows that she was a nice girl, he goes all out to find out who did this to her. It involves the military, and nuclear bombs. So, if u like mysteries/dramas, go watch it. The other movie, Mulholland Drive, apparently is a total mind f*ck. Since it wasn't showing, I can't say anything, except that my bro has friends who watched it more than twice and still can't get it. Go figure. I also started rewatching Love Hina, since I didn't have much to do. (I do have a couple episodes of Father Ted, but I'll watch that later). Its refreshing. But I wish the quality was higher. Ah well... maybe later I'll get it for my collection.
Monday. It was a warm cool day today. Mainly warm, but now its cool. What did I do? watch 16 episodes of Love Hina. Thats... how mad I was. Since there are 30 episodes of it (1-24, 25, Xmas Special, Spring Special, Love Hina Again 1-3) I watched half of it today. I only got the Spring Special + LHA 1-3 left. So... Its possible to watch it all in 3 days. Then onto Father Ted. I think. Unless something new comes on. I also saw a preview of a new movie coming out to Aus... its called Welcome to the Jungle or something like that (apparently its called 'The Rundown' in the states...), and it stars Seann William Scott and The Rock. Looks cool. and funny. So thats something I might wanna see. I still haven't seen S.W.A.T yet. ah... no $$ :(

Nothing to report today, I woke up late, it being a saturday, and basically just bummed around the house. My parents went to the Warehouse to get a Rice Cooker. Its a small model, maximum 7 cups, and it makes pretty good rice. They were also gonna get a coffee/tea plunger, except it got sold out or something. And today it was bitterly cold. Not unlike winter. Come on, we're expecting winter, and u're giving us a windy and cold day. Ah well. Also watched a couple of episodes of Family Guy, and the bits I missed of Monsters Inc. I like the style of modelling. Is there gonna be a MI2? it wouldn't be so bad...

Shopping...
I had to attend an interview... its in Hurstville, which means I had to drive to where I used to live, and then go past there to Hurstville... overall the journey took 40+ minutes. Anyways, after the meeting, I had to run a few shopping errands. First on my list was a duck. Its a 1.5 kg duck, and it costs $8.80. Secondly its 2 x 2kg of Chicken Wings and Chicken Drumsticks. They have increased in price since I was last there, more than a month ago. Now they are around $2.50/kg and $2.90/kg respectively. Previously they are less than $2/kg... After that, I had to drive to Narwee (back the way I came) to get some eggs. 2 Dozens at $2.30/Dozen. So its all different places, but... all poultry. And the bad thing was that it was raining all the while... It never let up, till at the end when I actually got home... but then it was still bloody cold. Still is cold now... Sure doesn't feel like summer. Anyways, there wasn't much on offer on TV at night, so I just basically bummed around for the evening on the 'puter. Its the weekend!! But that means nothing to me since everyday is like the weekend. Except that there isn't anything to do anyways. Ah well...

What...The...Hell.......????
I was driving my mum because she wants to get to her destination quickly. There were some clouds in the sky, but nothing intimidating. So after getting there, I sat in the car and waited. And then... it became all black and gloomy, and then massive storm just hit. Just like that, no warming whatsoever. Needless to say I was fine in the car, but well, my mum didn't have an umbrella. :P Anyways, at night watched the pilot of a new series called "The O.C". OC stands for Orange County. Its about this kid who goes along for a ride with his older and 'self-destructive' brother, who ends up crashing the stolen car, and gets sent to jail. The story follows the younger brother, called Ryan, and his court appointed attorney(Sandy, a guy). Ryan is naturally talented, but his dad is in jail, and with his mum being a severe alchoholic with a weird bf, they kick him out of the house. Sandy puts him up for the weekend (in his pool house), a lot of activities goes on while Ryan is 'introduced' as the cousin from Boston, and then when the weekend is over, Ryan goes back to his house, except that his mum and bf moved out... In 2 days. So Ryan and Sandy goes back to Sandy place (very rich place, this OC), and Ryan was gonna just get up and go, since he doesn't wanna go to a foster home etc... except that he seems to get into trouble, and ends up burning up this model home which was unfinished... Ok I suppose. The other alternative was "Enemy of the state", which I like. Or "Hack", which I haven't seen. But then I guess I'll watch The OC next week to see whats good or not. After The OC, there was the HK stylish ghost busting movie called 2002. Made in 2001, the movie title is about the 2002 ghost busting squad. Some good action, some funny moments... not bad viewing. HK seems to like the supernatural theme. Its built on the religion I guess. Anyways, theres a character called Nurse Danielle. I didn't think she's that good looking to tell u the truth. :P (Mix of Chinese + Irish). But anyways, thats my movie viewing of the week. Maybe more will turn up on Sunday.

I went and collected the photos from the graduation I went to. And then it starts raining, and rained hard... really hard... the sky was black... and then it didn't let up till around 10-11pm... Anyways, I think the pics turned out alright... The time before I went to get the photos was spent playing with SVC Chaos, can't get over how hard some of the bosses are... but its challenging and fun. Here is a link, about an explosion/shaking in syd last nite... I didn't hear it, but I think there might be a link to the power outage I felt last time... (see the posts below)... anyways, somebody sent me this link, pretty cute, enjoy it :) (Christmas is coming... ho ho ho...)

Wheeee :P I actually spent the day finishing off the "Runaway: A Road Adventure" game. Quite interesting, a good plot twist. :) And has started to play a game by SNK/Playmore called SVC Chaos (For those uninitiated, it is called SNK Vs Capcom. A Crossover game, between two of the best 2D fighting game powerhouses. There is another game of the cross over genre, in the same genre, called Capcom Vs SNK 2 (CvS2), but thats produced from Capcom, instead of SNK/Playmore... And it doesn't run on NEOGEO MVS Machines) Of course, where I got this game from is moot... and I don't think it plays properly (probably due to my computer...:P ). So no idea about it. But it sure is fun. Especially with an alien character in the game. Just have to wait till Metal Slug 5 comes out >:D The couple of days are still rainy/fine/rainy/fine... meaning that nothing has changed. And my life still sux. Ah well...

I watched "The Boondock Saints" today. Well not all of it, just enough of it... Its an ok movie, I wouldn't say its the best, or the worst, since its a movie of just... killing and more killing. Its not a thriller or psycho film, its more of a hitman kinda film. But I guess the best scene was when the guy jumped from the 4th storey with a toilet bowl. Thats awesome! Crazy... but I liked the style. Anyways, it was fine and then rainy again, which seems to be the pattern... Unsettled weather. So that was the perfect weather to be playing more of the "Runaway" adventure game. More getting stumped... On other news, my dad is gonna get quotes for a wooden cabinet to be made to house our buddha statues etc. So got me to make copies for him. Now, each copy if made via a photocopy machine would cost 20 cents. Thats pretty expensive. Back in uni, we had subsidised copies at 7 cents a page and still we complained. So, I scanned them in and was gonna print them... Except there seems to be a problem. Where did the black ink go? Its a colour cartridge. And there is no black ink. So now all the black stuff prints in RED. PURE RED. So I printed 8 pages of PURE RED. Thats just stupid. Need to get a new cartridge or refil it... Anyways, I saw this link, its about Elephant Towers, take a look. :)

Today I converted a movie, its called The Boondock Saints. I haven't watched the movie yet, but I will soon. I mean, I don't wanna waste all the effort I spent and not watch it. Also converted a movie called O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Except that it has trouble playing on the computer, not sure if its my drivers or the conversion process. So I will probably burn a test copy and see if it works. If it works, then my drivers on this comp needs replacing. *shrugs*. But I didn't get to watch Monsters Inc today, since was doing other stuff. Playing a game called Runaway: A Road Adventure... Its an adventure game, in the same genre as Monkey Island, which I played and enjoyed... Except this game has much nicer graphics (since its more recent, made in 2003 in English, by some European dudes... Norwegian or Netherlander...) and its more fustrating since the ideas they use are pretty weird... Needed to click here and there and make weird objects from your inventory. Anyways, getting stumped for half the day since its very challenging. So didn't do much... also the weather was a bit wonky, since it was fine in the morning, and then it was raining really hard for maybe half an hour, and then hot again till the evening, where its now warm. Tomorrow guess we'll be cracking more of the game open... And then maybe watch the Boondock Saints.
