Nothing new today, not even things to watch on telly... except that there was a fire in a furniture or something store nearby... and can actually smell the smoke, and see the smoke rising in the air, and the fire trucks siren and horns... apart from that, nothing spectacular... this time I've been digging up the vege patch, done about 5% of the de-grassing, man its hard work.... should just hire a machine and get new lawn... but at least its exercise...

so, today was a weird weather day... there were clouds in the sky for a better part of the morning, and then, when my parents came back from shopping, the car was covered in dust... and they said on the news later tonite that there was a strong wind blowing dust from the desert into the city... and there is a rule which doesn't allow water to be used to hose down the cars... so alot of people are having dusty cars... also dug more holes in the garden... got 2 'major' plants left... the rest are easier to plant... no rush... now just have to get the vege patch all sorted... digging time... at night watched CSI Miami, it was about a radioactive law suit/infatuation/junkies... poor Belle, I think this is not a real good episode, it was ok... and now on IRC, people were coming on and getting confused by the regulars adding 'c' to words which shouldn't have 'c' in it... and some greek guy just came on to ask for a certain blue beverage... thinks he misses that drink... :) (why does a greek guy come onto a taiwan server, I will never know...)

Hmmm... today was a nice boring day... went for a walk to buy the milk in the shopping square, it was pretty quiet, but on the way there, there was a bunch of students going a field trip of some sort, they were from the nearby high school... and they were a bunch of stragglers... just sorta walked slower... and it was strange, I was sure I saw around 30 people, and then I was walking behind these stragglers (2 of them), and when they turned the corner, the other 28 or so just disappeared!! how the hell did that happen, I don't know... maybe they ran... so, did a few of the chores, banking, chemisting, and milking... then back home... dug up some more of the garden to put some plants in... by now my shoulders are sore... and then my dad said sorry to me, he thinks that a plant I put in two days ago should be moved to somewhere else where it had a chance to grow... so that was moved... lucky the roots don't grow THAT fast.... at night, just watched another episode of CSI... holy cow, what the hell is BAMBOO RUSSIAN ROULETTE???? what crazy concoction did Jerry Bruckenheimer think up??? its as crazy as the aussie Jackass who set himself on fire and rode/jumped off a toilet block... man there are too many weird ppl out there... lock ur doors and close ur windows friends... On technology, there is a cute robot out... I wouldn't mind getting one and just playing with it... looks funky :D

So what did I do today? I didn't know why, but I woke up late today... but its ok, nothing interesting to do. The mail today had an interesting piece of letter... Apparently a Money Order was made from this house... but its got a weird addressee... will have to get that sorted out... will be good if can get the $$, but doesn't matter... Spent some of the afternoon digging more holes for more plants... now there is a whole row of guavas... and misc plants all in a 'orderly' pattern... at night, watched Australian Idol... I AM TOTALLY SHOCKED!!! the two favourites are in fact on the bottom of the list!! how could that have happened??? thats totally unbelieveable... It is a pity that Paulini was out... I would prefer Shannon out, he can't sing well... just lucky that he found Big Band to be his thing... So, now the list is Guy, then Cosima, then Shannon... if Shannon doesn't go next round, then... the people of aus likes a guy won't can't sing for an singing idol... weird huh...

Well... today woke up at 12, since WE LOST AN HOUR... but there wasn't much to do anyways... went out to the local fruit 'n' vege shop, had to cross the Sefton station... there were a bunch of people congregating in groups on the stairs... kinda feel intimidating... but anyways, my mum didn't get the fruit she wanted, they were more expensive... so we went to the store just opposite the street... it was a 'mixed business' store, with chinese paraphernalia on one side, and aussie stuff on the other... truly it was mixed... after coming back home, did some more gardening, just digging holes and and there and planting plants... still around 50 more to go... but lucky they are smaller ones... and since it was raining heavily in the last few days, the ground has softened up a little... but some places it was still hard... probably clay... At night watched Australian Idol, the Big Band special... I liked it, it was pretty cool... Shannon shone through this time, his second performance was really great. But I was thinking, why didn't Guy do 'Fly me to the moon'??? He would have KICKED ASS... not that he didn't... I think he has a big fanbase already... so... I still think Guy should be #1, then Paulini, and Cosima, and then Shannon... but knowing the fan base, Cosima might get kicked out tomorrow night... we'll see if I'm right or not :P but apparently Cosima had a deal in NY before (heard from a friend)... in fact, I think some recording companies would snap up these 4 finalists just like that... *clicks fingers*.
Straight after AI, I watched Raiders of the Lost Arc. Now, you may laugh, but it was the first time I saw it in its entirity. And I think its an interesting piece of work. I just thought of something funny for the last piece... you know how the arc was sealed away in a box... I can just imagine that storage facility being opened and then... they auction off pieces of items from like 100 years ago (the movie starts in 1939?) and one guy gets the box numbered #xxxxx... and opens it and kills everybody... wouldn't that be a bad mistake by the americans... Its just like Lara Crof : Tomb Raider 2... if she got Pandora's box and it got sold off... they would also unleash unspeakable evil on the world... so that means that by leaving the box there in the cradle of life... there will be other people who will tomb raid that place... anyways I think I'm going crazy now... so don't take me seriously.

Well its official now... Daylight savings is now on. Suddenly its 3am, and well I'll be tired in the morn... oops afternoon when I wake up... Basically spent the day indoors, it was pissing down all afternoon. Got woken up at noon by a friend from tw, she says she is interested in finding a man, anybody who is interested can write to me, and I'll hook u up!! (oh she is very pretty, and sexy, and alot of other good qualities... u can ask her for pics!!!)wahahahaha jk, I think she'll kill me after reading this... or be very qi si... So, my bros they went out to get some materials to hold up the rear porch roof, it has weak structures... and they also bought a set of dumbells... and now you know why I'll be sore tomorrow... Also watched another episode of Monk. It was good, except that A) I guessed who did it, B) the paint actually glows without being shined light upon... he flipped the picture off the wall IN THE DARK and it glowed... does that mean that paint glows in the dark without specific energy input? My alarm clock only shines in the dark when there is light on the face. If there is not light on the face, it does not glow. But after placing the clock in direct view of the light bulb for a few seconds, and turning off the light, it glows brightly. So the paint is special. Glows in the dark without 'recharging'. Either that or the Photo that the message was written on is very thin. Anyways I think I'm going a bit crazy writing about that, since it doesn't really matter... all that matters now is to adjust all the clocks/watches/computers/timing devices in the house... that amounts to around 15 items...

I would like to say... Dear Johnny, you view is totally fucked up. Keep ur brown nosing to yourself, and don't say crap... We know that u love to suck up to the big boys, but that won't get u anywhere. If there happens to be a solution, it will be that Taiwan will be independent, and China and Taiwan will not be one, but different entities. There you will be able to trade independently with each country. Since Taiwan will always be better than China. But guess that since this blog will never be heard, it doesn't matter. I just hope that u get what u deserve.
On other news, just did some more gardening. Nothing good on telly to watch, so just played some arcade games on the comp... ain't life the pits... :P

So, today practically did nothing... just spent around 3 hours digging up the back yard... now it looks like a semi-orchid. Got a row of guava plants in the back, a bamboo plant in the corner, a ginko biloba plant on the side, some little plants on the other side... all with 1 m gaps between them... so running out of space... and also will have a vege patch beside the shed... will be interesting...

Today woke up late, since was doing some stuff late... My dad called several friends and rellos in TW at night, therefore we started surfing late... but anyways, put the clothes into the washing machine right... and then it spills water AGAIN onto the floor... this time the bloody reason was that the sink filter was full of lint... can u believe that? It basically made the sink into a bowl, and all the water just sorta flooded out... so there was water all over the floor... and it was sudsy.. so I had to clean it up... and then opened the machine, and it still had water on the bottom... so had to redo the 'spin/drain' cycle... After hanging the clothes, I went and dug some holes in the garden. The holes were for the many various and interesting plants that my dad and mum has... and then we took apart the old and unused bbq that was sitting there... Man those blocks were heavy... and cracked... also turned over the compost that was in the compost bin... it looked... dusty for some reason... maybe its working already... At night watched CSI: Miami, and then watched an Oprah special on the Fab 5, the Queer Eye Guys... I think those guys are reluctant at first, but when they find out that they get free stuff, they are happily sucked in. Thats what they say anyways... I mean, why wouldn't u mind? u get to be famous for one episode, and u get free stuff to boot. Now, if there was a female version of it... They wouldn't be friendly, they will be totally different. Females making over females... hmmm... thats an interesting idea. NOT.

Ah... what did I do today... it was decided that we should nail down the shed roof, the corrugated iron has been neglected for several years by the previous tenants, and was flapping in the wind... so, off to the Villawood Bunnings again, and got some roofing nails. Anyways, back home, got the ladder and went up to nail the sucker down. The problem with that was... (A) it was rusty, (B) it was bent, (C) the wood was rotten... So... that made the task a bit 'fun'... Tried to bang the nails in with a hammer, and since it was so wobbly and rusty, the nails couldn't go through the metal sheets... and it made a hell of a racket... guess I should have gotten some earmuffs or something... but probably sustained some hearing damage. And to top it all off, as I was banging away mightyly on the roofing nails, the gutter decided to end its life, and fall off the side of the wall. Nearly took out my foot too. Guess that shed will be demolished next time around. Anyways, after trying to put in one nail, it was just too difficult. So drilled it with a drill, had to assemble a long power cord... and got the task done. The gutter stayed dead, since it was pretty pointless to put it back up, it had died of rust holes... And we checked out the other gutter beside the house, it was full of water, from the last rain. But why was it still full??? There happened to be MUD inside the exit pipe!! How the hell did that get there??? After a few pokes with a piece of wire, it started flowing again. But how did the dirt/mud get there??? geez Sydney needs to clean its air... otherwise the dirt will be in the rain... raining mud, that will be fun...
The other item we bought was a small can of Paint. We wanted to cover the ugly patch the long fluro lights left behind (it was a hideous pink). But the Bunnings didn't have any flat white. It was all glossed... all the shelves were glossed. So painted it, but because it takes around 4-6 hours to dry, it looks dodgy... Really dodgy... but it'll have to do for now... So now, if u walk into our lounge room, u won't see a ugly pink design in the ceiling, but rather a glossy white in the middle... Who knows what other bits of renovation will we do next?
On other news, watched some clips of Max Payne 2: The Fall Of Max Payne . It looks impressive, except I don't get why when u shoot people, they are in slow mo (Bullet time 2) while the explosions and flying objects are in fast mo... Kinda weird. . . But cool nevertheless. Will have to see if somebody can get a copy of it :P

Today was a general maintenance/cleanup day... firstly mowed the backyard, set up the compost bin, and the vacuumed the cars... they were still dirty from the moves, so finally they are clean. Next we removed the fluro lights in our lounge room, since its not a good design, kinda old and flimsy, and we wanted to put in a bayonet socket. So we removed the old fluro sockets, except that somebody forgot to turn off the light circuit in the power box... and my bro nearly got zapped badly... lucky he just got a slight zap, but then he was sick afterwards.. not sure if it was from the zap, or from food... who knows, the temperature sucks, I thought I nearly had a bleeding nose also. It was fine during the day, but at night it started raining hard... topsy turvy weather... After helping the process of setting up my bro's new bookshelf, I watched the movie Taxi with the zapped bro... I have to say, that is one funny movie, anybody who wants a light hearted movie should watch it. Its about this crazy pizza driver who becomes a taxi driver, and gets involved with the cops to help nab some crooks. By the maker of The Fifth Element, Luc Besson. I think I will wait for Taxi 2 and 3 to come onto TV... maybe in a year or so... Also, the new movie Scary Movie 3: Lord of the Brooms is coming out... and The Medallion with Jackie Chan is coming out soon... don't know yet if it'll be crap like the Tuxedo... ah well... more mindless babble later.

Today was a Saturday... well I post my blog generally after midnight, so its Sunday now... but anyways, went to a Bunnings Hardware store today to get some items... some RF cable heads for the TV antenna cable, some lightbulbs, one 1.8 m tall Ladder, one 10kg 1.3 m tall metal shelf, and a 1.7m 25kg bookshelf. The ladder is to hammer down some sheets of corrugated iron on the shed's roof, the metal shelf was installed straight away in my bro's room, and the 1.7m bookshelf is still unpacked and in my bro's room. I already got a 1.7m bookshelf in my room, so I didn't need one. But by golly Bunnings is really big... I don't know why we didn't go to Villawood's Bunnings, since we had to get the 1.7 m tall shelf from a Warehouse, and the Bunnings was just right there... ah well next time we'll go there. Apart from that, set up the TVs with the cable heads, and now got the clear reception for 4 channels, plus a 80% reception for channel 10. Now, all we need to do is get a satellite dish... :P Also wanted to mow the lawn, but it started raining, so will postpone that till tomorrow...

Its been nearly a week since I blogged. Why? I was totally buggered. That is the result from moving house for about 4 days. Why 4 days you ask? Well... simply put, we have too much junk. The main move was supposed to be on Thursday of last week (a week ago), but because of the bloody solicitors, the move was delayed till Sunday. So why 4 days? On Friday of last week we got the keys. Yes, after the contacting around, all those fonecalls made for the final result to get the keys on Friday. So, we started to move some of the stuff we got to the house on Saturday, after packing them all on Friday.
Saturday: My bro and his gf spent the day unloading the stuff into the house, which although generous, is kinda pointless, since they didn't really do anything, except prune the garden... And I think I shall be the one to mow this lawn and backyard also... Poor me. Meanwhile, me and the other bro were doing all the driving... I think altogether I drove about 16 trips (to and fro) for the 4 days. 4 a day. (some days were more than 4, some were less). Each trip was around 10-15 km, so I think I clocked up around 200 km... At the first night, I was delegated to guard the house, since some of the stuff I bought along were 'important'. So, on the last trip, I bought the TV and dinner, and my other bro drove home. I spent the night watching Monk, and then some of Iron Chef. Iron Chef was crap, because... it was DUBBED. My gawd, can it be any worse when its dubbed? They should fire the people who dub them, its that bad. But Monk was ok, it was about a fat person who looks like a whale. And he can't move out of his bed, but he managed to kill somebody. After Monk there was Mr Nice Guy, with Jackie Chan. As I have seen it before, and I was dead tired, I decided to opt for sleep. I had planned to get up at 9am, but it seems that somebody else had plans.
Sunday: I spent a night turning and tossing on a beach chair. Think something was wrong with my spine after I got woken up at 8am. My alarm clock didn't even get to ring. It was my other bro, he got here to inform me that things are moving already, and my dad will be here shortly to guard the house. He drove my bro (the one who gardened with his gf) to an Archery competition, and also unloaded a load of more stuff. So, I got dressed, and then prepared to go, after my dad came along. After unloading the car, I drove home, leaving my dad to guard the house. Why are we guarding a nearly empty house? Apparently Sefton is a bad surburb, and a 'Neighbourhood Watch' leaflet showed which areas had break-ins etc etc and our street was on one of them... Thats comforting to know isn't it... :( Anyways, after I got home, the removalists were already there, with about 1/4 of our stuff in the truck already. So, I grabbed a quick bite of brekkie and then started to help pack all the other stuff into the car, and then help the removalists pack the truck. The truck was small by previous standards, and it amazed me to think that with all our stuff (most of it, there was still 2 days of moving left remember) it managed to trundle along the busy roads without any problems. When we moved from Brisbane to Sydney the truck was way bigger. But this time, after we packed the truck to the brim, we still had a shed full of boxes. I lead the truck through the streets, and had to stop a few times because we lost sight of them, but got there in the end. At the other end we moved the majority of the boxes into the garage, and the major pieces of furniture into the house. And altogether, it took around 5 hours. At $60 an hour, it cost $270 for this move. Just after the truck left, and we moved the last item undercover, it started raining. Apprently that is a very good sign. I sure hope so :) Anyways, hopefully we don't have to move for around 5 years or so. For the rest of the day, me and the bro drove stuff to and fro again. That night, slept in my bed, and it was a good sleep, since I was so tired.
Monday: Who said Monday sucks was right. Not that I had a hangover of any sort, it was more of a 'sore-all-over' over. Just because the truck was smaller than usual, we had a shed full of stuff which were totally heavy. Encyclopaedia Britannica (sp?) in 26 volumes, other books, they didn't catch the removalist express... so they caught the slow car. (We should sell them, who needs encyclopaedias when there are Google and Encarta on DVDs??). The entire day was spent cleaning and removing stuff to the new home. This time we had no stress, since we were doing things in our own time. But it was very tiring, and I think we did about 5 trips (or 6), even during the night. By the end of the day we had little things left in both sheds, and inside the house. That night I had a very good nights sleep again, just hit my head on the pillow and I'm out...
Tuesday: Waking up I was sore all over again. But knowing that we'll be finished today brings joy to my heart. Went to the house, packed all the boxes into the car, and then had copious amounts of rubbish left over. Discarded boxes, polystyrene and cardboard, and plastic, they were all assembled to be thrown away. The only problem was that the recycling bin wasn't emptied this morning, it was the garden waste's bin this week. So, we had to lug all the waste to the new place to be chucked here. After readying the junk, we returned the key to the agent, and then I made one last trip to collect all the rubbish. That day, we installed the washing machine to the tap (had to get a new tap... the old one didn't have the right connector) and then started her up. And guess what, since my room was opposite the laundry, and we didn't tie the waste water pipe down... my room nearly had a mini flood. Fun eh. Apparently I'll be rich soon... all the water coming to my room... woohoo... But it cleaned up pretty quickly, it was a hot day, and the water pooled in the lino outside my room before it got to me. Just had a layer of water in the carpet... And thus spent the rest of the day unpacking and setting up the TV properly, and bookshelves etc etc. and then slept properly. Thus ends the story of moving. 4 days of planned mayhem. The rest of Wednesday and today (Thursday) was pretty uneventful, just unpacking more stuff, and getting new locks for the front and back doors. *Phew* I think I pretty much covered it all. If its not there, I think my mind chose to blank it out. Oh yeah cruised to the Bass Hill shopping center, its ok, not that big, but its adequate for Target and Franklins and Woolworths. The Chester Hill Square is about 5 mins walk away, and its got a Food for Less... and a shopping strip beside it. So will have most things covered for now.
Anyways, tomorrow (Friday) I'll be having an interview with Energy Australia, hopefully I'll get the position :D.

Friday: Well I didn't get to put this blog up last nite, due to the computer hanging again, so this is a status report. Went to the interview today, got there in about 1 hour via the train, had to swap trains at Strathfield, because it was on a different line. There are so many lines at Strathfield station (8 platforms) which made me walk around the station trying to find which train goes where, and guess there was around 20-30 people who are in the same state. They all just mill around the automated station timetables and look for the station they want... Think they need to improve the signage around the station, the station feels quite old. Anyways, got to the interview 30 mins early, and then walked around the little park just beside the office. There were quite a large flock of pigeons there. Quite alot = 50 or more... and there were these other birds, think they were of the scavenging kind, they were fighting with the pigeons... except the pigeons seems not to fight with them, they are just pretty scared of anything and anybody. So, did the interview, they asked a wide range of questions, and I think I give myself 70-80% of being selected. They asked some questions about hardware that I had never used before, or about electricity codes etc etc, and to tell u the truth, I had forgotten them ages ago. But I reckon I did alright :P.

Alright, everything has been settled... and now its the time of moving. Moved some plants in today, and measured out the house to make sure that the furniture will make it in their designated rooms. Tomorrow will spend the whole day moving the smaller stuff, and I will probably be the designated house-guarddog for the night... meaning no net possibly. If there was the chance to bring this computer along, then yeah I'll do it... otherwise I'm going with my trusty LA-JI-YO.
On the Rugby World Cup front, Aussies won 24-8 against Argentina. And one guy David somebody got concussed. By falling on his shoulder. Hmmm definately not a good way to fall thats for sure.
I guess I'll be offline till we're all moved in... and then the unpacking begins... *waves*

Today did some driving... not so far away, from Riverwood to Ashfield, did it via the M5, so ripped down it at around 90 km/h in the heap of junk, both ways, and then again at night... Apart from that, just spent a lazy day in, it was a cold day, no rain, but cloudy... and the bills are paid, so it will be definately sure that we'll get the keys tomorrow... and then the home fone will be disconnected here on sunday, meaning we'll need to have the net at the other place if we were to get the net... ah can't wait to start moving... *itching*

Hmmm today was an ok day I guess... found out the whole thing will be settled on friday. So that means we'll be moving the smaller stuff from friday onwards.. and the major move will be on sunday. woohoo... seems that we'll be having another month of the interest rate at 4.75%, thats probably the reason why theres problems with our settlement... everybody is busy trying to get money out of the bank or something to buy the houses?
On other news, Arnold is now the Governor of California. From now on we'll be hearing witty jokes about his movies, Terminator, Total Recall... what else do you expect? If you vote in a movie actor, you will get somebody who can act under pressure? Not sure about that.
Tonight watched CSI:Miami, and last nite watched CSI... it seems that Jerry or whoever writes the plots seem to say that the criminals are super smart (or think that they are), but has a serious flaw... or that they are just hired goons, with no brains activity. If you want to be a smart criminal who beats CSI people, you make sure you don't leave a single hair, or a single quirk, and have a perfect alibi. Otherwise u will just look bad. Or make sensational headlines, or get written into an episode of Jerry's show.
On other news, I'm deciding to write a book on how to speak/understand Taiwanese. This is on a whim, don't be alarmed... if you feel that I should be doing something else, please tell me, otherwise I might actually put this book into action... ho ho ho watch out world. NOT.

Bah... its a bad day today. The *bleep*ing solicitors are screwing us around I reckon, the move will have to be delayed... Got woken up early today, because yesterday it was a public holiday so today got the serious business down today... I think there was more calls made today by us then during a month... and there was also instances where we hang up the fone, and within seconds another one came in... (I think I counted that about 3 times today... meaning we had approximately 20-30 calls today). Ends up that the other solicitor didn't agree or something, and well... the move might be made on the weekend instead of thursday. Truely fustrating. Ah well, feeling bad, won't stay online for long, will go to sleep early :P

Ah what a tiring day... first of all it was raining about 90% of the day... if not called raining, then drizzle or a misty kinda rain... And since it was a Sydney Labour Day, it was decided that we should mow the lawn... when there was a short break in the rain of course. So, mowed the lawn, and then did some light packing inside the house... and then had a coffee from the free sample that I got... Cap Colombie is smooth indeed. But since it was a long time I had coffee I think I got the jitters... or maybe I was hungry... couldn't keep my hands straight (they were shaking) but now they are fine...
Yesterday, I went for my usual walk to the supermarket, and being the optimistic person I was, I didn't bring a brolly. it was fine when I went to the shops, but on the way back, I was drenched. Next time when there are omnious dark clouds in the sky, I must remember to take one along, even if it doesn't rain... ah what the hell am I talking about. :P oh yeah on my way there, there was a set of 5 sofa set chairs... nice I think... might needed patching or something, but since they were beside some goodwill bins, they shouldn't really be there in the first place... either somebody got some new sofas, or these just got old... if we had a truck we might go take them... since they don't really belong there... :P Those bins are just for clothes. Not huge pieces of furniture.
Tonite I watched Australian Idol... they had to drop two singers (its the last time they will do that, since next week they will start to drop 1 a week...) I saw the show last nite, I think Rebekah didn't sing well... and I was right, she was dropped. Kelly is an ok girl, but because her style isn't pop, I think her fans didn't vote for her. Paulini was a really good singer, her rendition of Chains was really good, I think she kicked this time. For my choices, I think Guy has a good chance, but there are so many other great singers left in the 6... Levi doesn't really cut it I think... Paulini has a great voice, Rob, he needs to improve his singing, and the other three aren't that memorable I guess... :P Will see what the '80s bring...

Nothing interesting today, cleaned out the area behind the computer... dusty as... I think sydney really needs to have a good wind to blow away the nasties... not that I have any allergies to dust or pollens but just that theres too much dust around... even on the car... when it rains, you see dust just CAKED on the windscreen... Tonight watched another episode of Monk, I think its pretty good, but its kinda not so good when they sorta reveal who dunnit at the beginning... if its meant to be a crime drama it should have more suspense, instead of letting everybody on the secret of how he solved it... but I suppose my mind guesses the obvious... ah well maybe next time... Tomorrow, its onto dissassembling shelves(lucky not so dusty). *Fun*... (NOT!)

Hmmm... today started packing away the books on the bookshelf... dusty as! bah and then cleaned the computer tables (if only I had a digi cam... can show u the 'after' pic (got the 'before' pic).
Tonight had 3 movies to choose from. 'Happy Gilmore' (not so funny), 'Leathal Weapon 4' (so-so), 'Airforce One' (nah not good)... meaning I just channel surfed between those three...
Recently I got one chapter of a manga called 'Girlfriend of Steel 2'. For those who doesn't know, Girlfriend of Steel is from Evangelion, the famed series involving Shinji, Rei and Asuka as the pilots for EVAs. As you should have known (if not, you should go borrow/rent the dvds) Shinji is a nutcase, Rei is the quite/withdrawn clone girl, and Asuka is the loud mouth arrogant German girl. This is the basic state of the characters, right until the very end of the TV series, where it shows the alternate reality, where all three characters are your average teenagers (instead of dysfunctional people). This is where the second series, the 'Girlfriend of Steel 2' manga (and maybe anime) starts off with. A much better idea if u ask me, since I don't like watching weird shit (and that guy is weird... just look at FLCL for crying out loud... thats a mental headjob...) And having seen the 'End Of Evangelion' (Actually just 'Air/A Pure Heart for You') I can say that he officially needs to find another occupation.
Oh yeah, got a package in the mail today, it was the Coffee Sampler from Nestle. Cool! Its got 3 Cigar Cases containing 2 satchels each... Very nicely done! (gives a big thumbs up). (Sorry, the sample only works for Aussie people...).
In the news, there was some article about too much violence in the movies, and this time its about Quentin Tarantino's new flick 'Kill Bill: Volume One'. From what they showed it looks interesting, with Uma Thurman fighting 20+ people using a sword. And then fighting Lucy Liu (or some other chick) with a long chain/flail thingy. Looks cool... its just like him to have famous people doing weird movies... Pulp Fiction, From Dusk Till Dawn, and now this... will be interesting to see how people will react to this (heard its pretty gory). And From Dusk Till Dawn was a gory movie indeed.

Hmmm... today it rained all day... and just sporadic rain in the past few hours... after a long time of no rain... and my bro and his gf went to Bowral (sp?) to watch some flowers... and now its raining... great timing... not... and whats ironic is that from midnight (of Monday -> Tuesday) there is a compulsory water restriction! They will discontinue the water restriction when the dam level gets to 70%... yeah, figures... not like that you need to wash your car when its raining or water your plants when its getting a soaking... ah well just make sure that it doesn't get in the way of next week, when we start moving... Moving... that will be a week of hard moving alright. And if it rains... -_-... lets hope its not gonna piss down that day :)

Nothing interesting the past day or so... finished reading the first book of Midori no Hibi, its absolutely f**king hilarious... for me... I mean, if you don't mind the occasional violence and swearing, you'll love this manga too. Get it from SnoopyCool.
Also saw on Monday a episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. I think its a concept which is "ok", I didn't mind it at all, but if 5 guys wanted to make me over, I wouldn't go for it. I'm happy with the way I am... Sure, they are seeing it from a 'non-blokey' view, but I think that with creativity and time (its always about the time... not enough of it) the person being made over can do the things they did... maybe not in a day, but over a month... same as the concept with the other TV shows... auction squad, DIY rescue... if they can be bothered to do it properly (getting advice and know-how beforehand), they wouldn't be in the sad situation of getting professionals to do something that A) they wanted to do themselves (without help) or B) something which should have required the help of professionals in the first place. Thats my opinion anyways <RANT> if I had a pet project, and I wanted to finish it BY MYSELF I wouldn't go ask somebody else to come do it for me... its MY pet project. I want to feel the satisfaction of completing it on my own. </RANT>. Never bite off more than you can chew... but its good for publicity and something to fill the channel's wasted timeslot...
Back to the subject of random website cruising, there seems to be a new Anime gonna be showing on Japanese TV soon... Its called GunSlinger Girl. And the lead girl is called Henrietta. hahaha I gotta show this to wookie... maybe he will be able to get it when it gets converted to divx, and translated... and then we can all pay out jules again... hmmm maybe not... :P Another series which I think would be interesting is Ai Yori Aoshi ~Einshi~ (Meaning "Bluer than Indigo ~Fate~"). I loved the first series... and I also wanted to get the series of FullMetal Panic? fumoffu (since I saw the first series of FullMetal Panic! (Don't know what fumoffu means, don't ask me).
