Nothing much today, it was slightly warmer than yesterday, but a bit chilly nevertheless... had a boring day in, and watched The Thorpedo beat 2 separate teams of young kids and old people... Not bad, averaging around 30-32 seconds per 50 m freestyle... for 1km... I think I would struggle in that kind of situation... and MTV... I think watching the broadcast, there was something wrong with the sound... either with my ears or the tv, or maybe they didn't capture the acoustics... but it didn't make the experience enjoyable.. :P even if the quality was good, the tv set is only mono... hahaha guess I just like to complain :P

Today was chillingly cold. Not that it was windy, but it was bloody cold wind as well. Ah enough ranting. Brisbane kicked Collingwood's ass! 50 points!! ah I an a Brissie clubs fan... even though I'm in Syd for good now (for now anyways)... Roosters won over Bulldogs, good for them...
Spent the day basically watching things... it was either the TV or the computer... watched a few more eps of .hack//sign, it was slowly moving, Sora (the player-killer) found the neko PC and got into the secret area where the little girl was hanging upside down.. don't you hate it when they don't really do a good job of translating? I found it hard to read the directly translated sentences... makes no sense. In the evening, watched something which is close to my style... I might not be a compulsive obsessive nutcase like Monk, but I sure like his style. A detective who is scared of germs, but has photographic memory. Very interesting pilot episode, it might be on my must watch list, like CSI and CSI:Miami. After that, I was wanting to watch Eraser, but because the footy was on, saw some bits of Die Hard 2 again. Wouldn't mind just being ejected out of a plane... cool but kinda crazy... Then watched Eraser... then got bored of it and flicked to SBS... and saw City Hunter with Jackie Chan. Always a laugh, never fails to cheer me up watching his antics. Ah a good day for watching movies...
Also got some chapters of a manga called "Midori no Hibi", its about this gangster looking boy who can't get gfs (got turned down by 20 already) who by some freak of nature, gets a gf, but its a literal 'gets'. You have to read it to believe it. Cracked me up, its funny :) (Now you know I'm immature :P) You can get it from the Manganews link a few posts back.
Since we are moving soon (next month), the real estate agent has put up the For Lease sign on our yard. Will need to start packing soon *sigh*. Got a lot to move... but this should be a permenant place to stay for a few years hopefully!!!

Maybe its just me... but does anybody actually LIKE the first 10-15 episodes of .hack//sign? I actually like anime (way too many to list), but that series was probably the only one that makes me feel that there could be way more...action... don't get me wrong, its beautifully drawn and animated, great background, except the concept needs to MOVE... but for now at least the plot is starting to move.
Apart from that, I'm running out of anime to watch... so I'm getting chapters of mangas instead. Like that guy on the Simpsons says (Troy Mclure): "Its cheaper to read the movie script rather than going to the cinema". Just wait till I get adsl!! :P If you wanna see mangas, the best place is to go to is Manga Jouhou. 'Tis the best site for news about manga, and its associated fans.
The ones that seem interesting are the comic/action ones in my opinion. You might beg to differ, but this is my blog afterall. Some of the ones I get (or try to get) are: Yotsubato!, Mahou Sensei Negima, Ikkitousen, Ichigo 100%, Yamada Taro, Fullmetal Alchemist... The ones I would like to get but licensed are Full Metal Panic!, Azumanga Daioh, Excel Saga, Mahoromatic, Ai Yori Aoshi... The list goes on... I wouldn't know what you like to read, but I'm pretty sure you can find something that would interest you. If I ever win lotto... I'll open a comic book store where you can come in, have a coffee or tea, and read manga(english or otherwise) or rent them (just like the ones available in Taiwan). Lets hope I win lotto then :)

Good news today, finally got the call I was waiting for... the interview for an apprenticeship position at Energy Australia. Hopefully I won't forget it, its 3 weeks away. Apart from that, nothing else out of the ordinary. Lugged meat home from the supermarket... ah what a boring life I lead (I am a pretend monk afterall...)
Today was a very nice day indeed. Nice and windy, feels very good when you're outside. A link to look at if you are bored... some iq test... more like a test of 'seek and click'... try it, its just click from the order of 1 to 100. (Click the 'start' link, and it'll give you a timer... I finished in 18 mins... any wrong number and it'll give u a warning :)) the link is here, http://www.soweb.net/ahfei/IQtest.html.

Today was a boring day. Went to a place to fix my dad's nebuliser. Nice and clean. Came home and then it was damned humid... started raining... it sure doesn't feel like sping... but then at this time last year I was still in Taiwan... if its hot now... we'll be boiled alive in summer.
